Celtic Norse Sword

The Early Norse and Celtic peoples of the very early Medieval Times designed and forged simple swords that were beautifully adorned with designs from their own historical legacy and lore. This beautiful and ancient Celtic sword has a curled scroll hand-engraved into its pommel. This scroll design was found on a ceremonial gilded iron helmet dating to the La Tene era. The original helmet still can be found in the Musee des Antiquites Nationales Museum in France. Leather sheath is included with the sword. The blade of the sword is 1-7/8" wide and 26" long. The sword’s overall length is 33".
